Two main ingredients to giving:
1) The gift – an item given without expectation of payment
a. God connected with us by giving His life to us; we connect with God by giving our life to Him
b. The area of your life you give to God is the area God gives of Himself to you
How do we give to Jesus?
• Get saved – Luke 15:7
• Keep giving to God – Matthew 6:21
• Give praise, thanks, worship, and finances
• Give to others – Matthew 25:34-40
2) Heart attitude: 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
a. Attitude of your giving determines the value of your giving – Mark 12:42-44
